Bhuwan K.C. is a legendary superstar and filmmaker often hailed as the "Romantic Hero" who defined the commercial landscape of Nepali cinema for over four decades. After starting his career as a singer at Radio Nepal, he transitioned to acting and achieved historic success with the 1985 blockbuster Kusume Rumal(1985), which remained the country’s highest-grossing film for twenty years. His prolific career includes era-defining hits like Samjhana(1986), Saino(1988), Chino(1991), and Dakshina(1994). Beyond his screen work, he has served as the Executive Chairman of the Film Development Board and is an active member of the Nepali Congress party.
