Before the War

Guido, in his early twenties, lives in a small town in Northern Italy. He has earned respect from his peers through violence in the racist and macho environment he grew up in. But when he meets Sonia, a Kosovar immigrant, something shifts. Guido finds himself torn between the world that made him and the one she’s opening up for him.
