In late 2004, when young religious fanatic Joshua Tinsman celebrates his 18th birthday. He is forced into making a decision that he doesn't feel comfortable with. Years of indoctrination and influence from his friends discourages him from leaving. After all, it's the ideology that he and his childhood friend Stephen grew up with since birth.
