Tomorrow We Escape

After more than twenty years, Jim returns to the village in rural northern Germany where he grew up; there, he encounters Nina and Robin—friends from a past life. They draw him into the whirlwind of the annual village fair. The three of them slowly drift away from the festivities, encountering old friends and visiting places from their childhood, while Jim reflects on the true reason for his journey: he has come to bid farewell to sadness.
